Process

It is best to begin the encapsulation process within 48 hours after the birth of your baby, but the sooner the better. If it will be more than four hours after the birth before I receive the placenta then it must be refrigerated, which is completely fine.

After I receive your placenta I will wash it, steam it, and slice it into thin strips which will be dehydrated for 12 hours. I will then grind it into a fine powder and put it into capsules.

It takes two days to complete the encapsulation. On the second day I will return the pills to you as well as the dried umbilical cord, which I will make into a keepsake unique to your baby.

If you have any special instructions or requests please do not hesitate to ask. My procedure is to return only the capsules and the cord, but I can accommodate many custom preparations.

My fee is $150, plus mileage depending on your location.
